Catherine Regehr Silk Taffeta Evening Gown with Shawl Collar

About the Item

Catherine Regehr has chosen an unusual changeable silk taffeta for this evening dress. The silk fabric appears to change color with the light and the movement of wearer. This can be seen in the photos of the dress. It has a generous shawl collar, a hook and eye closure at the waistline in addition to an interior ribbon tie. The sleeves are 3/4 length, and the skirt is full, with pockets in the side seams and dress makers "horsehair" to stiffen the hem. There is a matching tie sash, which when combined with the interior ribbon tie will allow for some variation, up or down in the waistline. The dress is in excellent condition, and it is marked a US size 10. Measurements; Shoulders 17" Bust 36" to 38" Waist 32" to 36" Hips Full Sleeves 19" Length 58.5" Sash 74"
