Dramatic Retro Silk Satin Embroidered Dressing Gown from the 1940's. Shirtwaist style in slinky black silk satin with Art Deco style soutache embroidery in yellow and gold tinsel on the stand away pockets and top button. Designed as a home dressing gown, but totally suitable for evening wear. Snap front closures to waist with half zip on skirt (one has to step into gown). Deep dolman sleeves, tight wrists, fitted waist with bias cut skirt. Deco Motifs embroidered on pockets and button. 1940's USA. Small size 2-4, Mannequin is size 2.
