- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Altered (not by designer). several condition issues- The dress has been boxed up for years, and I did not clean or repair it in any way. It has some old repairs (zipper looks to be replaced) and is in need of others. Some areas with loos or broken threads have been pinned in place. There are stresses to the side seams of the bodice and some fracturing/tears to the silk. The inner waistband of the top piece has come loose. The under skirt has ink marks and the hem is completely undone. There are some metal strap "struts" under the skirt that help give it structure, and one of them has come unattached on one side The wire in the bodice is poking out. This is a gorgeous dress that needs some tlc.
