This is a black double faced cashmere coat dress by Galanos for Evelyn Byrnes, New York, from the 1960's. There is a hook and eye at the front center zipper that extends to the low waist of the flared skirt, two front patch pockets (working) with buttons just above the waist, and a black silk lining.
