Geoffrey Beene was an American modernist who championed the concept of casual dressing in his evening wear looks. 3 tonal crinkle silk Taroni prints are used for this outfit.
Easy separates include a olive tank with antique guipure trim along the sides and other edges. The skirt is cut as a super full gathered dirndl in the burgundy crinkle silk with a trapuntoed hem in olive. A light jacket in dove grey blue, olive and burgundy completes the ensemble. Featherweight packable silks.
Included is an amazing Alex and Lee belt/necklace in tonal silk rope, lurex and mother of pearl. Wonderful as separates or worn together. Vintage Size 10.
