JEAN DESSES HAUTE COUTURE - Long dress in pink and white lace, raffia, and silk chiffon. It features a back bow, and bones at the bust. Circa 1950s. No composition or size tag, it fits a size 36FR/38FR.
Condition:
Good general condition. The armpits are a little yellowed.

Jean Dessès
Jean Dessès, a Greek fashion designer, founded his house in Paris in 1937.
Renowned for his sumptuous evening and wedding dresses, he used drapery inspired by Ancient Greece and Egypt.
After he retired in the 1960s, talented figures such as Valentino Garavani worked at the house.
Although the house is closed, Dessès’ influence remains in Haute Couture.
