Jean Lutece vintage 1960s black silk double breasted coat (or coat dress) with black rhinestone and seed bead embellishment at collar and cuffs. Raw silk features natural slubbing throughout. Smooth black trim at bottom. Fastens with an interior snap, cloth covered buttons, and hook and loop closures. Has snap & loop closures at interior shoulders so you can secure straps of a slip or bra if you wear as a dress.
Fully lined.

Amazing vintage one sleeved black asymmetric dress by New York designer Alfred Bosand, circa 1980s.
Full skirt with a single puffed sleeve. Very avant-garde in style, even for today! Rhinestones set in prongs create a fun bow design at bust. Dress is beautifully hand finished.
Alfred studied at Pratt and The Fashion Academy and designed for several other designers before opening his 57th avenue workshop and showroom, which he maintained through his retirement in 1986. His gowns retailed at Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and other high end boutiques. He dressed many celebrities and created the wardrobes for a decade of Miss Americas through the 1960s.
