Leonard Paris is collected for its luscious prints, like the one found on this fabulous dress and pants combo from the Nineties. A gorgeous display of watercolored flowers in a Monet-inspired palette bursts forth beautifully on the mikado silk-jersey pieces. It forms a rich canvas for the wrap-style silhouette and pajama bottoms. The top piece has padded shoulders, a seductive V-neckline, boning reinforcements at the double-layer waistline, four floral gold buttons that close it and a long, attached sash that masks the buttons when tied about the middle. The trousers connect in the back with a silk-covered button and zipper—and there are also zipper closures at the ankles. Fully engineered, the print is cut to perfectly trim the entire outfit’s edges, lending it additional elegance. Wear the ensemble together for a head-to-toe floral that is in style for the season, or mix and match the items with other ones in your closet for even more possibilities. It appears to never have been worn. It is made from mikado silk-blend jersey, the finest and lightest one the fashion house uses. The knit is printed with watercolored flowers in fuchsia, green, yellow, orange, lavender and blue on a white background. The engineered pattern has a border that trims the pieces. The knee-length wrap dress has padded shoulders (they are gently stitched at the ends for easy removal, if you prefer), long sleeves, a low-cut V-neckline, boning reinforcements at the double-layered waistline, four gold floral buttons closures at the front and a long, attached sash that covers the buttons when it is tied about the middle. The slim pants have a silk-covered button and zipper closure at the back and three-inch zipper closures at the ankles. High-quality vintage pieces like this are yours to live in and love while increasing in value every year.
