About the Item
Tina Leser used a colorful cotton border print from the South of France for this charming two piece dress and shawl. The boned camisole style top is cut entirely from the border print. It has narrow straps with decorative bows, a center back metal zipper and an elasticized waist. The matching long skirt has a vertical design on a green background above the border print hem. It has a natural waist, a center back zipper zipper and kick pleat. I have photographed the shawl as a wide sash but it can be worn both ways. It has the border print on both ends thanks to a nearly invisible seam. The top and skirt are fully lined in white cotton and there is an eyelet ruffle attached to the skirt lining. The outfit was retailed by Saks Fifth Avenue and it is in excellent condition, appearing to be unworn.
