1993 Runway Krizia Grey Wool Embellished Military Style Jacket

This fine 1940s flecked grey wool jacket retailed in high end American department store Schleisner and Co, Baltimore. There is a small additional label inside from the Coat and Suit Industry National Recovery Board which was a Union-made label used from 1936-1972. This darted and contoured jacket features a rounded v-neckline, with an overlapping button closure, and a further four pearlescent buttons running down the front. It has sloped seamed shoulders with slight padding to add structure, finished off with a button to each cuff. The rear of the garment is cut in a slight V shape, almost reminiscent of a riding jacket, and finished with another button. There is a tiny concealed 'train ticket...
