Navy and Red Rose Embroidered Vietnamese Split Cheongsam Tunic – XS, 1960s
About the Item
A superb example of fine micro embroidery, this striking lightweight cheongsam is wearable both casually and formally depending on what is paired with it. Thanks to millimeter-long stitches and subtle hue changes along each length of silk, the depth of texture and detail conveyed is almost dizzying.
Knee length tunic with Mandarin collar and micro embroidered rose vine at center front and back; ¾ raglan sleeves and 2 ½’ open slits each side. Opens fully via 9 snaps and 2 hooks and loops sewn asymmetrically from neckline to underarm, then down right seam. Unlined.
