About the Item

Stunning blue abstract floral silk taffeta George Carmel New York ensemble from the 1950's. Cocktial dress features square neckline, fitted bodice and tiered bubble skirt. Perfectly finished with a half belt that can be tied in a bow in the front or back depending on your preference. Attached cream slip with corset seaming. Original metal zippers. Oversized opera coat with shawl collar and bracelet length sleeves. Can be worn together or separately. Excellent vintage condition. Dress fits like a US 2 - narrow across bust.
