Sensational vintage TED LAPIDUS Haute Couture taupe / bronze and black silk metallic brocade two piece jacket and skirt suit ensemble! Heavy attention to detail with an outstanding tailored fit! 1940s style with a fitted bodice wasp waist, with strong shoulders and Avant Garde sleeves. Shawl collar on the blazer looks great popped up or left down. Black lacquer buttons up the bodice, and at each sleeve cuff. Chic high waisted pencil skirt is so flattering, and features a slit up the center back with black stitched detail. Hidden zipper up the back with hook-and-eye closure. Silk and rayon blend. Fully lined. Hand-sewn details make this garment truly one-of-a-kind. Both pieces great together or as separates. In great condition. Made in France. Both the skirt and blazer are marked Size EU 36 Measurements: Jacket 36-40 inch bust 28-30 inch waist Skirt (high waisted) 24-25 inch waist 34-36 inch hips 23 inches in length
