About the Item

An iconic piece to behold, this original 1960's gold lurex accordion pleated palazzo jumpsuit, is just the statement piece for your cocktail wardrobe. The rounded high neckline is framed by a raised collar detail, which draws together along the nape with a hook and eye. The simple shoulder line, accented the pleated design of the bodice. The full length inset sleeves, boast balloon cuts, which draw in along the cuffs, with a matching golden lurex button. The fitted waistline of the jumpsuit, sets off the slight blouson cut of the bodice, whilst drawing the eye to the elegant line of the palazzo cut of the trousers. The wide legs, boast accordion pleats, which radiate outwards with every movement, completing this jumpsuit in a truly iconic 1960's silhouette. This jumpsuit is lined along the bodice. Label: None Measurements of the Jumpsuit Armpit to Armpit: up to 38 inches Shoulder to Hem: 58 inches Shoulder to End of Sleeve: 25 inches Waist: 28 inches Inseam: 27 inches Rise: 17 inches Hips: 40 inches Shoulder to Shoulder: 15 inches Size: UK 10 US 6 Closures: This jumpsuit fastens to the back with a 21 inch plastic zip and a hook and loop Condition: This jumpsuit is in near perfect vintage condition. A very small darn along the left hand side sleeve, 6.5 inches up from the cuff. Two darns along the right hand side sleeve. Gentle loss of the accordion pleats along the back of the trouser legs. These minor details are not apparent when the jumpsuit is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report. Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
