About the Item

This truly iconic original 1970's set by Levi's is an outfit to behold. With their original orange tabs, which enable us to date these and set them apart from classic Levi's cuts, as the orange tabs were known to be more experimental designs. The high rise cut of the jeans are accented by a fitted waistband with belt buckle denim loops and a central metal button and zip fastening. The hips are accented by front and pack pockets, with the orange tab positioned along the back right hand side. The elegant line of these jeans showcase an iconic flare design, which can be worn with the trouser cuffs turned up or down, depending on your height. The matching denim waistcoat is accented by a central V shaped neckline and press stud fastenings that run along the length of the front. The simple shoulder line sets off the sleeveless cut and draws the eye to the front pockets and pointed hemline details along each side of the front of the waistcoat. This set is finished with iconic orange toned cotton stitching on a deep navy blue denim. A small age mark to the right hand side front of the bust-line along the waistcoat. Light and natural fading to the jeans. Light yellowing to the denim cotton along the front of the zip concealing panel. Light age marks to the front of each hipline beneath the pocket lines. light and natural wear to the denim along the pockets with slight discolouration. These minor details are not apparent when the set is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
