This handsome pooch is a wonderful example of a figural wicker handbag. He’s made of plastic coated wicker, which makes the wicker stronger and less susceptible to breakage. He’s tall and smiley, and sitting at attention like a good dog. Of indeterminate breed, he’s got some loopy, scruffy bits of “fur” on his shoulders and the top of his head, and a spiky, little spray at the tip of his tail. He sports a brass-studded leather collar with a leather backed brass dog tag. The leather harness handle attaches to the collar. It’s not the easiest access for engraving, but the dog tag would be so cute customized, perhaps with an engraved round name tag glued on top. There’s a long, hinged, metal clasp with a turn toggle on his back that secures the bag. The interior is vinyl lined and has a label that reads, “Marcus Brothers...
