Design Principal and founder, Alex Alonso started the studio after working many years in entertainment in Hollywood and splitting his time on both coasts. Reflecting a distinct design approach that is all about the mix, the result is a bold sensibility he calls “modern Victorian.” A maximalist through and through, Alex’s personal experiences living a bicoastal life and abroad fuels his passion for collecting unique elements that make a statement.

The core team specializes in residential design strategy, sourcing and project management. The studio works from a meticulously well-curated list of partners and providers that support the studio’s core belief in quality in approach and workmanship.
