Architectural Finial


American, probably New England or New York. circa 1875-1890. Copper, copper tubing. Condition: Excellent condition, original verdigris surface, minor re-soldering at seams. This exceptional architectural element probably adorned the roof or cupola of a great Victorian building or house in the late 19th century. The design and form with scroll-motifs is further complimented by the exceptional verdigris surface.
