We sculpt each knob with aluminum foil before sand-casting it in aluminum at our local foundry. It’s a physical ‘game of telephone’, a translation, or a conversation, or maybe a pun.
A humble-but-striking, utilitarian-but-elegant, perfectly imperfect piece.
Big AL knobs are approximately 2". The image shown is representative of size, but no two are alike and your Big AL knob will not look exactly like the knob above.

Project Room
Project Room is a full service artist-run design studio. Founded in 2015 by Los Angeles based artist Isaac Resnikoff, and growing out of an open-ended collaborative framework, Project Room has evolved into a small but ambitious studio. Our work includes residential renovation, new construction and interior design, restaurant and retail design, furniture, lighting, and urban infrastructure.
