Alaskan Studio Carved Redwood Outer Door In The Manner Of Ackerman-Panelcarve

About the Item

A masterpiece studio carved front or outer door. Hand carved redwood by an Alaskan artist from either the Tlingit or Cup'ik tribe and imported in 1971 by its original and only owner. Adorned with solid bronze matching door pulls having a matching custom carved redwood door jamb which has accompanying bronze door latch and spring loaded solid brass heavy duty hinges that are designed to hold the door closed while you turn the deadbolt. This piece is for those who want their front door and entry to their home to be a work of art and statement to what is behind it. From the Connecticut estate of late author Bruce Becker who was an avid collector of global art and objects. His collection of pieces including this door and its matching panels were imported from many parts of the world. Measurements: Door 80x36x1.75” HWD (Depth including pulls is 7”) Pulls are 15.5” top to bottom. Door Jamb 82.75x38.25x5 1/8” HWD NOTE: The pair of Matching panels is also available on our store.     Refinished. We have had the exterior side of the door cleaned and sealed for protection during many more decades of use. We have also polished the bronze pulls and wax sealed them to protect from hands and usage. All you’ll need is a new deadbolt.
