Antique Rustic Ethnic Entrance Door, Brown Carved Wood, India, 1750

About the Item

Antique rustic ethnic entrance door, strong and robust carved brown wood, complete with frame and original irons, chains and coverings. They were well designed to withstand inclement weather and theft, very massive, they have an iron strip cover and studs and raised step to enter. You look like a rustic house in India from the mid-1700s, very well carved and elaborate, so it probably belonged to a important character of the voillage. Measure with frame H 198 x 106 cm width, doors opening 162 x 78 cm.
