About the Item

A monumental set of Renaissance Revival figural leaded stained glass French / double doors of the highest quality. Features a nobleman courting a lady. Both are poised on top of a Doric or Roman capital in traditional attire facing each other. The doors are made from solid mahogany with brass and black porcelain handles. Hinges are accessed from the top. The figures are designed in vibrant colors with impeccable detail. Each is set in the middle of a lattice pebbled glass background. The windows were fully restored by one of the best restorations specialist in the united stated around 1980. Each sandwiched between two sheets of tempered glass to preserve their integrity and offer additional insulation. A truly exquisite pair that will make a statement in any space. Great for use in the entry, library, study or parlor. Dimensions: 59"w x 89.75" x 9.25" together, separate 29.5" x 89.75"h x 9.25"w (includes handles)
