Pair 19th Century Country French Wrought Iron Andirons

About the Item

Pair 19th century Country French wrought Iron Andirons display the obvious talents of the metalsmith who created the set, which includes the connecting bar that has intricate spiraled finial embellishments to match the spiral andirons and finials, which also boast acanthus leaf adornment. Elegant scrollwork is also indicative of the skill of the blacksmith, who mounted a shield motif into the mix for added visual appeal. Circa 1870s Measures 24 H x 43 W x 15 D (width somewhat adjustable). Available for pickup in the Dallas Design District, Dallas, TX.
