About the Item

Happy to offer this very attractive and rare 17th century French firescreen or gate. This amazingly crafted gate is in perfect condition and super sturdy. The round feet carry the three section with grace but give it the support necessary. Its very elegant and frail floral decor make it really nice to watch and to discover all the intricate work the creator/ master blacksmith put in it. This would work the best with a heart opening between 35.43 inches and 70.86 inch wide. Great patina, very unusual and truly unique piece.
