An English Antique Georgian Style Polished Steel Dog Grate Fire Grate
About the Item
A Mid 19th century Georgian style Dog grate, in polished steel and wrought iron. The deeply engraved and cut fret of Storks, scrolls and beaded edge. Engraved side wings of ribbon tied drapery and rosettes. A shaped cast iron fireback with beaded edge and decorative urn to centre. The finials engraved as are the front supports. A very good quality and in very good condition English fire grate from the Mid 19th century
