A very large antique English carved oak Victorian fire mantel reclaimed from a property in Staffordshire.
Dating to circa 1870, this stunning antique fireplace is ideal for a large main room in a property, crafted entirely from good quality English oak with a rich patina. Finely handcarved elements decorate every angle, from the repeating grotesque masks to the frieze to the ornate column-style jambs. As an added feature, this fireplace has two small concealed cupboards to either side of the frieze, ideal for storing fireside essentials!
An impressive fire surround steeped in history and grandeur, perfect for a period townhouse or heritage property.
