Well Carved Antique 19th Century Louis XVI Style Fireplace Mantel


In statuary marble with bowed shaped frieze, centred with an oblong cartouche decorated with budding acanthus and flanked by panels with alternating flower heads in roundels joined by foliate rings. The stepped back jambs of ribbed 'S' shaped consoles with rounded scrolls thickly decorated with acanthus and capped with squared acanthus blockings.
