An unusual English marble fireplace with beautifully carved Aesops fable centre panel depicting the story of the Fox and the Stalk. The frieze with arched and dart detailing, with sweeping moulded bracketed jambs, 19th century with a Georgian influence, in fine quality Italian statuary marble.
