‘Cocodril’ (Crocodile) is a sculptural furniture piece from the acclaimed Enrrajolats animal collection — a series where art, design, and craftsmanship meet through the use of traditional Spanish tiling techniques reinterpreted in a bold, contemporary aesthetic.
Originally created for Design Miami, this piece pays tribute to the crocodile, a native species of the region, reimagined here through a geometric, pixelated form that evokes early video game graphics. This distinctive visual language speaks to the growing disconnect between the digital world and the natural environment. Crafted with a minimalist approach and deep conceptual intent, Cocodril transforms a wild animal into a domesticated, symbolic object.
