Late 19th century garden urn. This beautiful piece is most likely produced by J. W. Fiske and Company although a signature cannot be found. This incredible detailed Victorian piece can be used in or outdoors. The date is stamped on the pedestal base side and we think it reads : May 25, 1875

The figures depict Demeter holding a cornucopia, the other Diktynna with her fishing net, impressed marks E. MARCH SÖHNE/ CHARLOTTENBURG/ BEI BERLIN.
As you can see sections missing, mainly upper arms, fingers etc. But overall of good visual decorative form and colour. Untouched and in very much country house condition.
The plinths are not original to the figures but are off period and colour.
