About the Item

More information coming soon… The delicate carvings of this set of five Solomonic table columns are enhanced by the rich dark brown patina. Hand-carved in the 1700s in Spain, the helix-like columns are enveloped in intricate grapevines that follow the twisting forms of each column. Topped by a Corinthian order capital consisting of volutes emanating from a leaf cup known as a caulicole.
