20th - 21st Century French Vintage Rustic Wood Domed Top Flower Cart

About the Item

An original, vintage French rustic hand cart in dark green-black paint, in good condition. The sides have metal panes with glass inserts, and the front and back have a sunburst designed metal frame with glass inserts. The top is divided in two liftable halves. Both halves have a metal handle so the can be opened easily. The beautifully bowed glass tops add to the charm of this French garden ornament. The center of the top is decorated with forged scrolled decorative iron work. Each wheel is crafted in Oakwood and has been banded in iron. Perfect to be used as a small green house for herbs or to display plants and or flowers. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa late 20th Century, France.
