About the Item
This was an incredible find from no longer produced Gainey Ceramics. These made in the USA glazed ceramic ashtrays slash planter / pots are new old stock pieces that were stored away for many years and then recently discovered in a storage locker. These ashtrays consist of a 20 inch tall and 10.5 inch diameter cylindrical shaped glazed white ceramic vessel with steel removable tray. With the steel tray it can be an astray or a drink holder. Without the tray it can be a planter pot for your favourite indoor or outdoor plant. Or perhaps a tall vase for a bouquet of flowers to place on your dining table, console table or entry way center table.
Note: We have multiple units in stock, some are in original wrapping and some have had the wrapping removed. Priced individually. Let us know when you make your purchase whether you want a wrapped or unwrapped example shipped to you.
These fantastic white ceramic jardinières are considered collectors pieces since Gainey is no longer in business and because these ashtray pottery are all signed, underneath and via a label on the ones still wrapped in their original wrapping, Gainey Ceramics, USA.
Consider using in a Mid-Century Modern or Postmodern home, also consider for a Traditional, Classical or Contemporary home or office. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Perfect for any environment.
