English Faux Bois Pair of Planters
About the Item
A whimsical pair of early 20th century English faux bois planters to add organic texture to any interior or patio. The reconstituted stone (a concrete mixture) has the familiar striations and wrinkles of tree bark under a patinated white exterior. Traces of a metallic liner are evident on the inside, in place of drainage holes, however much of it has eroded. Please note that they are not identical in scale but still coordinate beautifully for “wabi sabi” naturalism reminding us to find joy in the perfectly imperfect.
