About the Item

Pair of large scale enameled Asian metal urns, probably Japan or China, circa 1930s, possibly earlier. They have been used as planters for most of their lives and exhibit their original distressed patina and wear commensurate with age and use.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Minor fading. Distressed original patina. Bottoms appear to be replaced. They each have a hole toward the bottom, possibly a drain. They each have a few repaired holes to the bodies. One has a crack at the rim. Enamel losses. Various scratches, dings and wear.
