Pair 19th Century Palatial Spelter Medieval Statues Roland & Robert I on Stands

About the Item

This is an amazing pair of detailed spelter medieval military figures on wonderful bases with dragon heads and paw feet. The figures are titled Roland and Robert 1 and are completely adorned with their costumes and armor. The top of one of the bases is signed in pen, I'm not sure by whom. There is some oxidation and wear to the finish but I don't see anything broken or missing. These would be amazing in front of a huge fireplace, an entrance or other impressive surroundings. The figures themselves are about 3 feet tall and 14 inches wide, the bases are about 37 inches tall so together they measure about 6 feet tall!! The round tops of the bases where the statues sit is about 12 inches in diameter and the bottoms are about 18 inches. You will never find another pair like these! If you are within a 5 hour drive from Virginia, I may be able to help arrange delivery.
