About the Item

We date these carvings to the early 19th century but they may be much earlier than that. They come as a pair and priced as a pair. I'm told that these were architectural elements from an Italian theater. The paint and gilding are wonderful and the scale is an impressive 55 inches tall. It also shows its age well with a nice patina.
