Two Vintage Carved Stone Sculptures of Soldiers from the British Indian Army

About the Item

Two vintage Anglo-Indian grey stone carved sculptures from the early 20th century, depicting soldiers and perfect to be used as exterior garden ornaments. They are priced and sold $1900 each. Created in India during the first half of the 20th century, each of these sculptures depicts a soldier from the British Indian army standing proudly on a square pedestal. One of the feet forward and a hand on the hip, the soldier is leaning on his rifle and carries a knife on his waist. Their skillful depiction and petite proportions will make these two Anglo-Indian stone sculptures excellent decorative additions to any garden!
