About the Item

A large-size French 19th century painted wood half round window casement. This gorgeous antique French half-moon window features a painted wood casement, with muntins reminiscent of sun rays, reaching upwards from the bottom center. The casement is divided into two halves, hinged in the center allowing the left side of the window to be opened. This piece retains much of it's original finish of pale grey/blue with lovely chippy bits throughout, adding character. Please note that there is no glass in this window, this is the casement frame only. This French half-round window could be lovingly restored to it's prior glory or perhaps used as a wall decoration, adding architectural interest and charm to any space.
