About the Item
Vintage Czech Bohemian Schlevogt Ingrid malachite green dressing table or candy glass basket. A hand molded body with mother and babies overlooked by cherubs. This design was by Frantisek Pazourek and was designed in the 1930's. In excellent original condition with the original "Ingrid" sticker
The Curt Schlevogt company introduced the Ingrid collection at the spring 1934 trade fair in Leipzig and later on, it was presented at the world expositions in Chicago (1934) and Brussels (1935). The Ingrid collection was constantly enriched, comprising of approximately 600 objects in 1935, doubling in number by the mid 1940's. This new colored glass which formed part of the Ingrid collection was produced at the glassworks of Josef Riedel in Dolni Polubny.
