Set of 3 Large 1950s Wicker Baskets Sitting on a Black Metal Frame
About the Item
These lovely and very practical storage baskets were in service in the 1950s in a small department store in the Northern part of the Netherlands.
The baskets have been plaited by hand using willow toes. They sit on a black metal frame.
They would be very decorative in a child's room to store Lego, teddy bears or miniature cars, or to use in a laundry room. Another application we can imagine would be planters, if you cover the inside with a layer of sturdy plastic.
