Teak basket, 1950s.
Rare waste paper basket made of fine teak wood connected at the sides with brass studs. The exterior features a silkscreen print by Margaret Dovaston, a British painter best known for her detailed depictions of imaginary English interiors and historical scenes from various periods. Condition is excellent, may show slight signs of time due to age and use.
