About the Item

Mid-20th Century Italian vintage marble tazza/bowl, entirely handcrafted in Italian Tuscan marble "Fior di pesco". High quality of the hand execution of the turning with double lip, and decoration of the “baccelli”, hand-carved cloves on the exterior. Exceptional condition. This classical marble is known for a soft tonal palette of cream grey with tints of green and pink, strongly accented by enticing veins in blush rose, white, some purple and yellow, the "peach" that gives the name to this stone: "Peach Flower". It is raised on foot with a square base and lip molding. Square base dimensions: 8.5 in x 8.5 in x 1.25 in H. TWO are available. Accompanying columns of the same marble are available. Another same style bowl in "Sarancolen", the marble of the National Opera House in Paris, in terracotta color with pink, red, white veins, is item LU911245141122. Contact us for more details.
