A genuine original painted antique wood trough from Luleå Northern Sweden
The trough has a lovely color & patina.
A nearly monumentaly large farmers handcrafted form or trough/ serving bowl or centerpiece. A highly functional object with a sculptural apperance.
This historical trough has marks of wear which make it unique.
These troughs were orginally designed to store milk. Today they are used as decorative bowls on tables to put fruit in or nice flowers.
There is a small crack on one side of the trough. It is joined together with a forged nail.
