A Sumatran hand-carved wood bowl from the early 20th century. This antique wood bowl comes from the Lampung province of Sumatra, which is locate on the southern most tip of the island. This beautiful wood bowl has been hand carved from a single piece of tropical hardwood. It is round in shape, with a fabulous notched texture from the hand-carving. This antique Sumatran hand-carved wood bowl, with it's simplistic design, will lend itself well to both modern or antique settings alike.
