About the Item

A decorative bowl in the shape of a shell, produced in the legendary workshops of Vallauris – the French center of artistic ceramics, which in the mid-20th century attracted artists such as Picasso and Roger Capron. This piece delights with its nature-inspired form – the organic, irregular line resembles a seashell, capturing movement and undulation in clay. However, it is the glaze that plays the leading role here: deep, multi-tonal colors intertwine in a spectacular composition – from juicy ochre, through honey yellow, to intense brown and creamy white. The surface of the vessel shimmers subtly in the light, creating an almost landscape of colors and textures. Signed on the bottom, confirming its authenticity and origin. Ideal as a collector's item, a decoration for a coffee table, console, or dresser – but also as a functional vessel for storing small items in a stylish way.
