About the Item
A lovely, large wooden bowl in teak designed by Johnny Mattsson in Gävle, Sweden. The bowl is 70 cm (27,5") in diameter and 13 cm (5.2") wide and in very good condition except form one minor wooden crack that almost not is notable if you don´t look really close. It´s marked JM below.
He became recognised in the early 50´s for his enormous skills in wooden sculpturing. He is represented at most Swedish museums and also at some international museum.
