About the Item

This large Mid-Century Modern art glass footed compote is unsigned but presumed to have been made in Italy in circa 1969. The bowl is done in multicolored swirls of red, brown, blue, white, yellow and orange on a clear background with silver flecked inclusions. The applied pedestal base is done in a thick clear glass with aventurine or gold flecked inclusions.
