About the Item

Orange glazed ceramic candle holder or decorative bowl. Mid 20th century. Eye catching orange glazed ceramic candle holder with a very distinct style. A studio pottery piece which was hand made somewhere in the middle of the last century. In design it also refers somewhat unintentionally to post-modern pieces by Ettore Sottsass, although we think it was made by a local artisanal pottery artist. A great piece on your coffee or dining table. Due to the vibrant color of the candle holder / bowl it will be the center of attention. The shape is simple, but interesting at the same time. A delicate and well-proportioned design that also looks great in a modern or mid-century interior. Great vintage condition with a few little imperfections in the glaze - which have been always there.
