Bold, geometric table designed and manufactured by Harvey Probber. It has a cross-hatch pedestal base and an octagonal top of travertine mosaic outlined by a thick beveled wood framed edge in an ebonized finish. Although there are no makers marks, this table has been featured in a 1957 publication: Furniture Designed by Harvey Probber. You'll see this same table described in other listings as a dining table or game table but you should note that the table height is 25.5" (lower than most dining tables today).
